Bayliss, Thomas ordinary with tangent spokes

This wonderful preserved example of a Bayliss, Thomas ordinary was for sale at the 2019 Beaulieu jumble. It looks very original, including the saddle. Owner thinks it is a semi racer, a lightweight version with hollow rims etc.

It is the first Bayliss Thomas ordinary I have seen pictures of with a staley head. Most of Bayliss Thomas ordinaries had the 'open head'
Wonderful example of a 50" bicycle with the tangent spokes and the clamp to hold the handlebars. On the spring is a faded stamp with the name of the maker.
